It was with huge sadness that we recently heard belatedly of Archie's death. Growing up in Mabel Street as I did, I can still remember the day when the Trovatos took over the corner shop. I was in my early teens and it was an exciting event in the history of the road. We came to know them well and have very warm memories of the whole family. Although it's nearly 50 years since I married and moved away, we remained in touch whilst our mother was still alive and living just across from the shop. God bless you all, you are all in our thoughts and hearts at this sad time.
